During the Summer and Fall of 2019 I worked for UCLA Events & Transportation to revamp and streamline the BruinCar, BruinBus, and Fleet Acquisitions web pages. Before I took on this project there many dead links and the page was difficult to navigate.
I began the project by mapping the entire website and identifying redundancies and dead links.
I then had a brainstorming session with my associates to determine which pages were obsolete and which were necessary to keep. We determined a basic outline.
After the brainstorming session, I used Microsoft Word to create a mockup of the flow and verbiage on each page. The outline was sent to the IT department to finish development. Below is an example of one of the pages before I worked on it. Though it has been updated a little since I worked on it, it mostly hasn’t changed from my layout. UCLA Transportation
